Taking back our Freedoms "RALLY"

rally: "It is time to send a message to those in authority: WE may have different priorities, we may be of every persuasion, but we are all Americans and we are sick and tired of unrepresentative government. We are tired of watching the fundamental promise and potential of American life subverted by profiteers and self-serving interests. And we are sick and tired of the few pretenders, and their supplicants, who posture that their agendas are ours.
UNITED we will stand...and so will the America we love.

No to Torture, Yes to the Constitution - Ron Paul
The Intelligence Authorization Act of 2008 banned waterboarding and other forms of torture. The measure, previously passed by Congress, was vetoed by President Bush. This vote was an attempt to override the veto. It passed 225-188, but failed to get the 2/3 requirement to override the veto. Here is the speech Rep. Ron Paul gave before the vote:

"The Revolution Continues" With We The People

What if there was a law that could be used to force the Government to obey the Constitution? There is! -- but the Government hopes you never learn about it.
Join We The People Foundation Chairman Bob Schulz on the conference call as he shares how the long-forgotten power of the Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances is THE profound legal weapon the People possess that can directly restore Constitutional Order.
Learn the little-known 800-year history of this Natural Right and find out about the paradigm-shifting plan to ignite a nation-wide, grassroots drive to reeducate America about the true meaning of the last ten words of the First Amendment and exercise this individual, "capstone Right" to save the Republic.
Our nation's current problems are not the result of defective political policies -- they are the result of violations of the Constitution. Thankfully, our Founders provided the People the means -- in Law -- to peacefully secure Government accountability without the need to either garner the will of the political majority or fire a single musket.
Bob will be presenting this idea this Thursday evening, March 13, 2008 on the National Ron Paul Meetup Conference Call - now in it's 43rd consecutive week - beginning at 8 pm Central: 605-475-8500 PIN 5092984.

Ron Paul supporters, FairTax advocates, and tax-reformers call for national protest - The DeLand-Deltona Beacon

Ron Paul supporters, FairTax advocates, and tax-reformers call for national protest - The DeLand-Deltona Beacon: "By Al Everson
BEACON STAFF WRITER - Published 3-10-2008
Claiming they are latter-day revolutionaries in the tradition of America's founders, some citizens are gearing up to protest what they consider unfair taxation.
They are calling for a general strike next month.
In the wake of passage of a property-tax amendment to the Florida Constitution, Volusia Tax Reform and supporters of the Ron Paul for President campaign are joining grassroots movements to demand further tax reductions and an overhaul of the state and federal tax systems.
Paul's supporters are trying to mount a nationwide work stoppage April 15 — the deadline for filing 2007 federal income-tax returns — and rallies in the nation's capital and in cities and towns around the country."
Ron Paul's Meeting with Rogue Farmers
Ron Paul's Meeting with Rogue Farmers: "Now, more than ever, the Ron Paul Revolution must roll forward in force. It doesn't matter if Ron Paul can win the White House or not. What does matter is that we don't give up the fight against tyranny. The global elite have manipulated our lives for a century. Their schemes to destroy our currency, eliminate civil liberties, enslave us and our children, and spill our blood in the process are all clear and present dangers which must be resisted to our last ounce of strength. We must resist, or we must inevitably perish.
For my Amish friends, for my family, and for my country I commit myself to the noble cause of freedom. Now is not the time to vacillate or shrink from duty. Now is the time to rise and fight."

McCain's Lingering FEC Problem | PoliticalLore.com
McCain won a clean sweep of the four March 4th Republican states, but in order to arrive at the RNC convention with a fighting chance against the eventual Democratic nominee John McCain needs to be able to withdraw from the Federal matching funds program.
If he is not released from the Federal funding program McCain is subject to spending limits that would lead to his campaign being outspent by Democrats at a ratio of 10 to 1.
The road to leaving the program is going to be a long and difficult one for McCain, despite what his lawyers would like the public to believe.McCain's Lingering FEC Problem | PoliticalLore.com
