Filed under: News — jellygal @ 5:08 pm

Meetup.com is a key grassroots meeting hub that enables users to find others with the same interests in their area. The members meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis volunteering on the ground for their candidate. The service is not free, either. The cost is $72 for six months for an organizer to have a group, but free for members.

To date, Ron Paul leads the entire group of Presidential hopefuls with 416 groups and 14,649 members.

Obama comes in 2nd with 70 groups and 3,836 members.

Following is a chart with a full breakdown by candidate.Click here for more.
