To continue:

MyFeral Professor: "Some of the folks on the internet I’ve talked to , especially Ron Paul supporters, very skeptical about some comments you made about a possible global tax on carbon. What they’re afraid of is the consolidation of power on a world scale. And so I want to see your take on what you see as a potential world organization. Where do you see the world going in sort of a cooperation of nations?"

Mike Gravel:
"To think the world can survive without some form of global governance…it’s mis….it’s bad thinking.”

"I was asked on Hannity & Colmes once “Mr. Gravel, you’re for a world government?” Of course I am…any reasonable person would be. Problem is the world is not mature enough to handle a world government today. And that’s the direction we need to go in rather than going back in the other direction which is the direction of anarchy and the jungle. And that where some of his views will lead us."
